Just Thought You Might Like to Know is dedicated to Mr. Fred Palmer, the late chief executive of radio station WATH-AM in Athens, Ohio. Mr. Palmer was a broadcasting pioneer and a longtime FCC licensee. Part of the WATH broadcast schedule always included a short commentary by Mr. Palmer on current events, local politics or just plain musings. Each commentary ended with his standard "outcue": Just thought you might like to know. Mr. Palmer's commentaries always reflected his common sense Midwest heritage. It is to him this blog is dedicated. Just thought you might like to know.
